On October 8th 2009 i decided to head up to Marietta, GA to catch some CSX action on the W&A sub. About hour after i got off the CCT bus the first train rolled through, CSX G666 (not making that up!) behind a GEVO-C40-8W combo, too bad it was AC6000 666 leading! About 3 hours passed, and not a single thing had moved since the grain train from hell, a nice big cloud front had moved in and i was in the process of getting ready to leave when i recieved a text from Kyle Yunker (guitars14) about a SB Q580, so i set up at the Witlock Avenue crossing, and soon the distant gates came down, but i heard not the expected K3LA but rather a K5LAR24, and something in YN2 paint popped around the corner behind the truck frantically trying to get off the crossing. I couldnt believe what i was seeing, a B36-7! Right then the sun came out, perfectly lighting up the train, proving good things come to those who wait. Shortly after Q580 showed up with a pretty good consist, but by that time it was a afterthought.
